Palacios coffee is a small coffee roastery and café in Arequipa owned by a very passionate young entrepreneur who loves coffee.
The special thing about Palacios is that the owner sources the coffee solely from one known source in Peru (San Martin), guaranteeing a high quality of the Arabica beans which he then processes further and roasts within his café in Arequipa. This is especially nice to watch when you are around and smells great.
Even though this place is a little off the tourist track, it is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a strong good coffee during your trip to Peru. In my opinion one of the best coffee places in Peru that I have visited.

Taste
The cappuccino as well as the ice coffee were of excellent quality. The Arabica beans have floral aromas with a tendency of cacao notes with medium acity. Very recommendable
Atmosphere
This café shows a lot about the origin and processing of the coffee with a number of photos at the walls. This gives the café a special personal note and makes you feel very welcome. The café interior itself is simple with a few wooden chairs and tables, a bar and the roasting machines.
Value
Good quality coffee for reasonable prices.
