Impressions
Alea Cafe-Lounge Bar in the historical town of Paphos in the south-west of Cyprus is a beautiful place for an afternoon stop while visiting the city or the nearby archeological sites.
It is well located directly on the boardwalk with tables both inside and outside from where you can see the beautiful turquoise sea.
The interior and furniture is very nice and trendy, some parts seem to be recycled (e.g. old wooden pallets as seats) and I can imagine that the bar is popular at night too. I can only recommend to stop by and relax with a cup of coffee or refreshing drink or for a sundowner.

Taste
The espresso macchiato that I had was tasty and I didn't have anything to complain. It is not easy to find something other than filter coffee in Cyprus.
The lemon squash is also a very recommendable, refreshing drink made with fresh lemon juice and topped up with water.
Atmosphere
Alea is a very layed-back café with interesting furniture, comfortable atmosphere, some background music and a sea view, thus perfect for a relaxed break. The staff was also very friendly.
Value
Given the nice location prices were surprisingly moderate.
