This Dutch coffee franchise is one of my absoute favorite's that I have visited so far and will very probably always remain in that top ten list.

First of all, if you are visiting Maastricht you will have a few options to drink your coffeelovers coffee - there is one location inside of an old church that is nowadays used as bookstore, then there are two cafés at the Maas river with the possibility to sit outside and watch students, families or tourists move along on their bikes. 

Why I like this place so much? My appreciation for coffeelovers might have developed during the time I lived in Maastricht and where I couldn't afford a real coffee machine. The cappuccino there is one of the best I ever had. Always tasty and perfectly prepared during the many, many (I think actually countless) times I dropped by at one of their stores. The beans are coming from Blanche Dael which is a local roastery and tea store with a history going back to the 19th century. You may also visit their store in the center of Maastricht (Wolfstraat) if you want to purchase coffee, tea or coffee supplies directly from them.

I really like the atmosphere at coffeelovers and their interior design. Some of their cafés are usually very crowded, but others also offer a tranquil surrounding where you can read or relax a little. If your are hungry or thirsty you will also be able to find something delicious such as baguettes, cakes, quiche and many other options.
